Is THE LEAGUE a single player league?
Skirmishes of 1 vs. 1 are played. However, the system is created for both single players as well as for clans: there is a clan ladder in addition to the single player tournament. Further information about the ladders can be found here and here.

When is the 3rd season scheduled to start?
The 3rd season is scheduled to start in May 2006. The exact date will be announced on the homepage before.

How long does one season last?
One season of the league will probably take about three months. The exact number of matches in each season depends on the number of participants but we expect it to be nine. The seasonal matches take place on freely selectable days within each week. At the end of a season, the best players of each league will be given the chance to fight each other in the "European Play-Offs" to find out just who Europe's best Cossacks 2 player is.

How much does one season cost?
The fee is 3 EURO and is transferred during the registration.

Why do you ask for a monthly fee?
The experience with many other leagues is that many players register themselves but then don't appear for the matches or simply back out of the current season. This is a big problem for the players who really want to play. Also, we have expenditures such as server and postage costs which we must pay. Therefore we will ask for a small seasonal fee of 3 EURO which should be payable for all players. This small fee helps us enormously and brings many advantages for the players, such as additional prices and motivated players.

Are there any requirements for joining THE LEAGUE?
The most important requirements for participation are that you live somewhere in Europe (seen from a geographic point of view, of course), that you're familiar with writing in English or German and that your PC is able to run Cossacks2 properly. What is a player account and what functions does it have?
Besides the possibility to edit your profile, this page can also be used to access your PM center, to contact other players or the League admins, and to view the game overview manager. There you can view the current game overviews and tables, as well as find an overview of your matches and enter dates and results for them.

How much time do I need to take part?
One match is played each week of a season. You should have several free dates available per week so that your opponent and you can always find a date to play.

What can I win?
Due to the great support by CDV and the small seasonal fee, you can win attractive prices.
The winners of the German and English leagues will be receiving prizes such as full edition software. The winners of the European Play-Offs and the clan ladder can expect quite an interesting main prize! Also, if you're one of the first twenty players to register for the first season, you'll be in the running for additional prizes we'll be handing out!

THE LEAGUE is run by the largest Cossacks 2 fan community of the world, Cossacks2-net.de. Cossacks2-net.de is member of the German online gaming-magazine Gamershall.de. As enthusiastic Cossacks players, we operate Cossacks2-net.de and THE LEAGUE in our free time.
